Art therapy
What is art therapy?
Art therapy is a treatment of fine arts that uses elements of psychotherapy through various forms of art as a way of communication. Sensory stimuli in it serve as a means of self-expression. The goal of art therapists is to start a person’s self-healing process and enable him to discover a way of expressing emotions, mental processes and relationships, which is not always possible to express verbally. It allows you to know your own potential and increase self-awareness, self-knowledge and support the growth of personality.
We understand art therapy as a supportive treatment when working with clients with various types and degrees of mental difficulties, through a variety of artistic activities – from drawing, painting, to modelling.
