Initial neurological examination
60–90 minutes
The initial examination at our centre takes approximately 60–90 minutes, giving the doctor enough time to focus fully on the patient. It consists of taking your medical history, a physical examination, and a conclusion with a detailed explanation of the findings.
The examination is painless and there is no reason to worry about it. If the diagnosis is clear after the first examination, the doctor will propose a treatment plan. More often, additional tests are recommended (blood tests, CT, MRI, X-ray) to confirm the diagnosis – however, symptomatic treatment to relieve your discomfort can begin immediately.
Electromyography (EMG)
up to 30 minutes
EMG is indicated by a neurologist for symptoms of muscle, nerve or neuromuscular disorders: tingling, numbness, muscle stiffness, twitching, muscle pain or weakness of the limbs. Most commonly for suspected tetany syndrome, polyneuropathy, peripheral nerve damage or disorders of neuromuscular transmission.
Carotid artery ultrasound
up to 30 minutes
A non-invasive and painless examination of the neck arteries that can reveal narrowing or blockage of an artery and measure blood flow velocity. It allows the doctor to assess the degree of arterial hardening (atherosclerosis).
We recommend it for patients with diabetes, high blood pressure or high cholesterol, smokers, people suffering from dizziness, after a loss of consciousness, with long-term headaches, after a heart attack – and as a preventive check-up for everyone over 40.
Medical check-ups and consultations
Follow-up examinations for new and long-term patients: monitoring the progress of your condition, adjusting treatment and medication, and consultations for headaches, dizziness, sensory disturbances, muscle cramps, tetany and other neurological complaints.
Telephone consultations
Quick professional advice without visiting the clinic. This service is available to existing clients and must be purchased in advance via our e-shop or the Bookio booking system.
Second opinion
If you are unsure about your diagnosis or proposed treatment, we offer an independent expert assessment:
- review of your existing medical reports and examinations
- objective evaluation of the diagnosis
- recommendation of further steps or treatment alternatives
- option of an in-person or telephone consultation
Therapeutic injections
An effective method for relieving pain and muscle tension in selected neurological and spine-related conditions – back pain, pain in the cervical and lumbar spine, muscle spasms and overstrain. Performed exclusively by an experienced physician in an outpatient setting.
Infusion therapy
Administration of medication and supportive substances directly into the bloodstream for a rapid effect. It helps with neurological and functional disorders, supports the nervous system, and relieves exhaustion, tetany, headaches and muscle problems. Always according to an individual protocol.
