What services do we offer?

Soft tissue techniques (myofascial massage): This involves a combination of manipulations and techniques that a physiotherapist uses to address musculoskeletal problems. Soft tissue techniques are performed with pressure that reflexively acts on specific points. The muscle responds by gradually relaxing from the cervical spine down to the coccyx. Within soft tissue techniques, we first focus on superficial areas (skin and subcutaneous tissue) and then on deeper structures (muscles and fascia).

Mobilization techniques: Mobilization techniques involve gentle, repetitive movements within a joint (to the extent that the joints allow). Around a blocked joint or segment, soft tissues also change, and blood and lymphatic circulation are often impaired. These techniques serve to restore joint mobility in the event of a functional disorder. Mobilization techniques are used to eliminate functional blockages of the musculoskeletal system arising from various causes.

It includes illustrative demonstrations and movement exercises for the correct performance of daily activities, such as proper sitting or getting out of bed, how to correctly perform work-related tasks, and many others.

Ultrasound therapy is one of the physical procedures, and also a type of thermotherapy, a treatment that uses heat for its effect. It is precisely thanks to heat that ultrasound therapy can relieve very painful conditions, both chronic and acute pain. Ultrasound therapy has beneficial effects, which include, without exception, the relaxation of stiff muscles due to micromassage, which is also an effect of ultrasound.

The tape is applied to the patient with tension on the specific muscle. The tape acts on the subcutaneous tissue and triggers a reflexive reaction of nerve endings, lymphatic capillaries, and blood vessels. Kinesiotape works on a neurophysiological principle, where impulses are generated in the subcutaneous tissue and transmitted to the brain. Taping helps reduce muscle tension and decreases pain in overstrained or torn muscles.

It is performed using an electrotherapeutic device that provides almost immediate analgesic effects (reduces pain), increases blood and lymph microcirculation, and relaxes muscles. It is used for back and joint pain, ligament pain, joint sprains, treats post-injury conditions, helps in the treatment of headaches and migraines, tennis elbow, assists with tendon and joint inflammations, and similar conditions.

A pulsed magnetic field positively influences biochemical and biophysical reactions both within and between the cells of a living organism, improving the permeability of cell membranes that are impaired by illness. The result of this process is that cells are supplied with increased oxygen and other active substances, and the metabolic process improves. The central nervous system registers the influence on living cells and, through the immune system, initiates self-healing processes in the organism. Magnetotherapy using the UltiCare LT-99 device is therefore a complementary method to conventional treatment procedures.
