What services do we offer?

The initial neurological examination at our center lasts approximately 60-90 minutes, during which the doctor can thoroughly attend to the patient.

It consists of taking a medical history, a subsequent physical examination, and the conclusion of the initial examination. The examination is painless, and there is no reason to be concerned. The doctor physically examines the patient in their underwear. At the conclusion of the initial examination, the doctor informs the patient of the examination results with a detailed explanation; this may include a diagnosis and treatment plan – if the doctor is certain of the disease diagnosis after the first examination.

More often, however, the doctor anticipates several possible diagnoses and must determine which one the patient has. Therefore, they will recommend auxiliary, further examinations that will help them determine the correct diagnosis. This may include blood tests, CT, MRI, X-ray, etc. Even with an uncertain diagnosis, treatment can be started immediately – for example, by alleviating pain, dizziness, etc.; this is a non-specific, symptomatic treatment that can bring immediate relief to the patient.

Sonographic (ultrasound) examination of the carotid arteries, or extracranial cerebral arteries, is a non-invasive and painless examination that reveals the presence of narrowing or occlusion of an artery and determines the blood flow velocity in the arteries. It allows the neurologist to assess the condition of arterial hardening in the examined patient. We recommend this examination for patients over 40 years of age as a preventive measure. The entire examination takes up to 30 minutes. The examination should be undergone by individuals: Patients with diabetes mellitus, with high blood pressure, smokers, those who frequently experience dizziness (vertigo), who have fainted or previously lost consciousness, suffer from chronic headaches, people over 40 years of age, with high cholesterol levels in the blood, with ischemic heart disease (e.g., after a heart attack).

An electromyographic examination (EMG) may be indicated by a neurologist if you have symptoms of a muscle, nerve, or neuromuscular disorder or disease. The most common symptoms include tingling, numbness, muscle stiffness, involuntary twitching (tics), muscle soreness or weakness – up to paralysis of the upper and lower limbs. Most often, a neurologist will recommend an EMG examination if they suspect tetanic syndrome, polyneuropathy, damage to peripheral nerves (or nerve roots in disc herniation), or disorders of neuromuscular transmission.

We provide comprehensive neurological examinations and expert consultations focused on the diagnosis, treatment, and long-term monitoring of neurological diseases. Check-ups are intended for both new and long-term monitored patients. Follow-up examinations primarily serve to monitor disease progression, adjust treatment and medication regimens, and provide consultations for headaches, dizziness, sensory disturbances, muscle cramps, tetany, and other neurological issues.

Telephone consultation allows for quick expert advice without the need for an in-person visit to the clinic. The service is intended for existing clients after purchasing the service in advance via the e-shop or the Bookio reservation system.

If you are unsure about a diagnosis or proposed treatment, we offer you an independent expert neurological opinion, which includes:

  • review of existing medical reports and examinations
  • objective assessment of the diagnosis
  • recommendation for further steps or alternative treatment options
  • option of in-person or telephone consultation

Injection therapy is an effective method for alleviating pain and muscle tension in selected neurological and vertebrogenic conditions. It is recommended for the treatment of spinal pain, cervical and lumbar regions, or as a solution for muscle spasms and overuse. It is performed exclusively by an experienced physician in an outpatient setting.

Infusion therapy serves to administer medications and supportive substances directly into the bloodstream with rapid and effective action, and is highly effective for:

  • treatment of neurological and functional disorders,
  • supports the nervous system,
  • in cases of fatigue, tetany, headaches, or muscle problems.

Infusion therapy is always tailored according to an individual protocol based on the patient's needs.
