It consists of taking your medical history, a physical examination, and a conclusion with a detailed explanation of the findings.<\/p>\r\n<p>The examination is painless and there is no reason to worry about it. If the diagnosis is clear after the first examination, the doctor will propose a treatment plan. More often, additional tests are recommended (blood tests, CT, MRI, X-ray) to confirm the diagnosis \u2013 however, symptomatic treatment to relieve your discomfort can begin immediately.<\/p>\r\n<\/details>\r\n\r\n<details>\r\n<summary><h3>Electromyography (EMG)<\/h3><\/summary>\r\n<p><span class=\"hk-dur\">up to 30 minutes<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p>EMG is indicated by a neurologist for symptoms of muscle, nerve or neuromuscular disorders: tingling, numbness, muscle stiffness, twitching, muscle pain or weakness of the limbs.
